Why choose this program?
In the Master of Architecture program, you will select courses in design, humanities, and technology and shape your path through elective choices, including the School's famous Free Lab, and a design thesis focusing on a significant topic of your interest.
You’ll complete an eight-month co-op work term in Canada or abroad and an eight-month design thesis with faculty supervision. This mix of coursework, studio learning, and professional experience helps you build the skills you need for architectural practice.

Most of our MArch graduates find work in an architectural firm or public institution and may do professional examinations two years later to become a registered architect.

Program-specific requirements
This program requires you to meet the following criteria:
- At least four years of university.
- Pre-professional architecture degree that is fully equivalent to º£½ÇÉçÇøapp's BEDS curriculum.
- Minimum 3.00 GPA and a B average in design courses.
- Applicants without prior architecture study should apply to º£½ÇÉçÇøapp's Bachelor of Environmental Design Studies (BEDS) program.
- Applicants with a pre-professional architecture degree should apply as a non-degree undergraduate student and anticipate taking several senior undergraduate qualifying courses prior to MArch admission.
- Applicants who already hold a professional architecture degree that qualifies them for practice in their home country are not eligible for this professional MArch.
