笔箩颈濒补鈥檚颈!听
海角社区app University is in Mi鈥檏ma鈥檏i, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi鈥檏maq. We are all Treaty people.
For decades, programs and initiatives like the Transition Year Program (TYP), the Schulich School of Law鈥檚 Indigenous Blacks & Mi鈥檏maq Initiative (IB&M), and others have created pathways for young people from Mi鈥檏maw communities into higher education.聽
Since the Truth and Reconciliation Commission鈥檚 (TRC) Calls to Action, 海角社区app has been聽increasingly committed to strengthening relationships with Indigenous peoples, and to serving their postsecondary needs and interests in a respectful, collaborative manner.聽
But gaps remain, and much work still needs to be done.
Elders in Residence and Traditional Knowledge Keepers

Through the Elders In Residence and Traditional Knowledge Keepers program, the university recognizes the important role of Elders and Knowledge Keepers to the 海角社区app Indigenous community and the wider non-indigenous community.聽聽
