Our department houses some of the top researchers in the their field.听 There are many opportunities for students to get involved in research, either through volunteering in labs or participating in studies to earn credit points towards their course marks.

Course-based Research Projects

An undergraduate research project (听触听) in Psychology and Neuroscience involves working in the laboratory of a faculty researcher. Projects can take place at any time during the academic year, as well as over the summer, and can last for an entire semester or continue for a year or more.

  • Developmental: Language and literacy, social-cognitive child development
  • Animal: Canid behaviour (wolves, coyotes, red foxes, dogs), learning, genetics, songbird behaviour, scent and attractions in rodents
