Brief Biography
Michael J. Wigginton is a part-time faculty member in the Department of Political Science and a scholar of elections and representation. Prior to his time at Dal, he was a SSHRC Postdoctoral Fellow in Carleton University鈥檚 Department of Political Science and earned a PhD from the University of Ottawa鈥檚 School of Political Studies. His research is focused on electoral turnout and diversity in representation in the Canadian context. More information on his work is available on or his page.
