2026 Irvin Glovin Lecture: Our Plates Have No Boundaries
Join culinary historian and cultural activist Michael W. Twitty for a critique of the idea that "food brings people together," arguing instead that we have responsibility for the task of using the table to foment sustainable positive change and healing.
Before and after the lecture, join us in the McCain lobby to sample African diaspora food prepared by participants in SPICE (Specialized Program in Cooking Entrepreneurship), which supports underrepresented Nova Scotian women in establishing food-related businesses.
