For two decades, a partnership between the community of North Preston and Dal's Faculty of Dentistry has enabled local children to receive dental care in a community previously underserved.

The Schulich School of Law’s Indigenous Blacks & Mi’kmaq Initiative was recently the recipient of a 2016 Zenith Award from Toronto-based Lexpert magazine, an honour that celebrates Canadian lawyers’ contributions in achieving diversity and inclusion in society and the legal profession.

June 27 was Canadian Multiculturalism Day. To mark the occasion, we spoke with a number of individuals across the university about the concept and why it's important — to both Canada and to º£½ÇÉçÇøapp.

Thanks to Math Circles — a partnership between º£½ÇÉçÇøapp, Eastlink, the Government of Nova Scotia and Halifax Regional School Board — elementary school students across the province are getting to explore math in interactive and entertaining new ways.

At Tuesday's Milestones Tea, º£½ÇÉçÇøapp celebrated its faculty and staff who've contributed 25 or 35 years of service to the university.
