Greg Affleck is Senior Legal Counsel to the Izaak Walton Killam (IWK) Health Centre. In this role, Greg advises the organization鈥檚 leaders on a broad range of issues, including legal claims, insurance,鈥痗ontracts, legislation, employment, privacy, consent and capacity and other operational matters. In this role, Greg also provides strategic direction in the management of the Health Centre鈥檚 insurance portfolio and assists with monitoring, mitigating, and reducing risk in the delivery of care and services provided within the Health Centre. Greg practiced in private practice before joining IWK Health in 2019, and holds a Masters in Philosophy. Greg also sits as a Public Member on the Nova Scotia Regulator of Dentistry and Dental Assisting鈥檚 Complaints Committee.
