Description
One renewable scholarship valued at $4,000 per year for a maximum of two years will be offered each year to a successful applicant.
This scholarship was established by a generous donation from Olivia Lewis and Michael Lonardo. Olivia, who passed away in January 2025, and her partner Michael, shared a commitment to issues of social justice. This scholarship is set up by her partner, Michael Lonardo.Â
Eligibility criteria:
- You must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at º£½ÇÉçÇøapp University, either at the master's or Doctoral level in the Faculty of
- Arts and Social Sciences
- Science
- Health or
- Law
- Your research interest must focus on issues of social justice including but not limited to: climate and environmental justice, refugee crisis, Black and racial inequality, the rights of Indigenous peoples, economic inequality, food insecurity, LGBTQ2S+ rights, human and civil rights, ageism, gender and sexual discrimination, access to health care, homelessness, labour and working-class history, or workplace health and safety.
- Minimum GPA of 3.7 out of 4.3 based on the most recent two full years of study.
