Computer Science student Hasmeet Singh Chandok, captures the world's attention with the Maritime Bhangra Group

This week, Dal hosts Canada's national conference for the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education. We connected with Computer Science prof Srini Sampalli 鈥� 3M Teaching Fellow and vice-president of the Canadian chapter of the International Federation of National Teaching Fellows 鈥� to discuss what goes into great teaching.

Nur Zincir-Heywood receives the the 2017 Women Leaders in the Digital Economy Award from Digital Nova Scotia, which recognizes an individual who has made a significant contribution to Nova Scotia鈥檚 ICT sector while actively championing women in the field.
