A celebration of life will be held for formerÌýNSACÌýprofessorÌýandÌýdepartmentÌýhead Dr.ÌýJohnÌýBubar,ÌýSaturday May 3, 2014 fromÌý2-4pmÌýat the Colchester Community Funeral Home,Ìý512 Willow St.,ÌýTruro. An informal reception will follow at Ryan Duffy’s Wine Bar & Grill, 515 Prince St. at 4:30pm.

The Bubar family welcomes you to join them in celebrating John’s life. There will be an opportunity to share stories and exchange memories during the service, and the family encourages friends of John to speak if they would like to do so.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Dr. John Bubar Scholarship fund at the Faculty of Agriculture. This award, and its mandate to assist students attending the AC, was very important to John and the family feels that supporting this award is a fitting tribute to him.
